Fits well, good protection for skateboarding.
My son has been skateboarding for 6 months, so I ordered him these pads to prevent injuries. This set is a good value. You get two elbow guards, two knee guards, and two palm guards in this set, so the only other item you may need is a helmet.The pads are very sturdy and seem to be fine quality. The wrist guards cover the entire palm. The elbow pads have hard plastic protectors to prevent fall injuries. The knee pads also have hard plastic disks to protect the knees. All the pads feel very secure. They can be adjusted with Velcro straps and have elastic elements to keep them in place.I was worried that the knee pads were too bulky and may be uncomfortable, but my son said they were fine, and he was able to wear the pads over his jeans.To choose the right size, refer to the size guide. You need to measure the circumference of your knee, wrist and elbow to choose a size. My son is tall and lanky, about 6’1” and 150 lbs. We ordered him a medium, and he’s happy with the fit. However, the knee pad velcro strap barely fits him. So, we could have ordered a large.Overall, I’m happy with this item and hope it prevents any injuries. The protective gear seems durable and comfortable enough. Would recommend.
